It's Never Too Late...

Over the many years that I have been involved in orthodontic treatment coordinating, I have yet to hear an adult patient say that they should have waited to get started. Actually, they usually say that they wish they would have started much sooner and that is exactly how our patient, Kayla was able to rid herself of her TMJ pain with braces.

There are various reasons adults consider starting orthodontic treatment, but the one that makes the most impact is the boost of self-esteem from correcting the bite, getting out of pain, and straightening their smile. Orthodontic treatment has the power to truly improve the outlook for someone's life. Don't hesitate to get started riding yourself of insecurities through the many different options of Orthodontics.

Improving one's confidence for relationships, career moves, or just feeling like they can finally leave the past behind are only a few of the many positive outcomes from improving one's smile. Traditional braces, ceramic braces, and Invisalign are great options for correcting the bite and aligning a smile.

The multiple treatment and financing options available to patients in today's world provide the greatest access to orthodontic treatment than ever before.

I do have one very important piece of advice, be sure to go to an orthodontic specialist who not only straightens teeth, but also has additional, specialized training working with the Temporomandibular Joints (TMJ). I have had numerous patients unnecessarily pay significant money and experience severe pain while trying to do it themselves, or receiving treatment from a practice that may not have adequate experience and or training working with the TMJs.

Hey! If you ever have questions, please give our practice a call and we will be happy to help!

Don't wait! It's never too late to have the smile (and properly aligned bite with relaxed TMJs!) that you've always wanted!

Watch Kayla's testimony about how braces corrected her TMJ pain.
