Dr. John only uses the highest quality, pressure-moulded material called BIOPLAST XTREME. BIOPLAST is brought to you by one of the most innovative Mouth-Guard material manufacturers on the planet, SCHEU Dental Technology. These dudes know what they're doing! What is BIOPLAST?
I thought you'd never ask! Well, BIOPLAST is a high-quality ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) distinguished by its first-class impact absorption and outstanding elasticity despite its extremely light weight. BIOPLAST mouth guards for active sports are CUSTOM-MADE (just for you) by Dr. John Orthodontics' Lab Technicians, who work together with Dr. John. Hiney We have two rules at Dr. John Orthodontics:
Rule #1: Provide the Highest Quality Treatment Rule #2: Make it Affordable You're probably thinking to yourself, "That's what they all say." and you'd be right, that is what they all say! The difference is whether or not they can deliver. To understand whether or not that's possible, you must understand exactly what is supposed to be delivered. No, not all orthodontic treatments are created equal. What do I mean by that? It's simple, there are those that just straighten teeth and then there are those that properly set the TMJ, correct the bite, and straighten teeth. Yes, it does take a lot more work and expertise to deliver this level of treatment, but having additional, rigorous training, and specializing in treating the TMJ is essential for a beautiful, long lasting, properly functioning bite and smile. This is precisely what separates Dr. John Orthodontics from the rest! Now you're probably thinking, "That sounds amazing but must be expensive!" No, Dr. John does not allow finances to stand in the way of patients being able to afford the highest quality treatment and that is precisely why we created the $149 / $149 program. Make a $149 down payment and $149 monthly payments and you will receive the highest quality treatment for your braces. Now you don't have to settle for less because you didn't think you could afford the best! Don't hesitate to reach out and schedule a free-consultation today! Kevin R. Hiney Having any type of medical or dental procedure can be an intimidating experience. Often times patients are not fully informed as to what may or may not be happening with their initial exam, records, and treatment.
It is extremely important to Dr. John Orthodontics that patients are 100% comfortable through all phases of our treatment process. Properly informing patients prior to their initial exam sets the tone for the rest of the patient experience. Everyone is encouraged to ask as many questions as necessary to feel comfortable prior to moving on to any next steps. We make certain that there is clarity and that our patients are informed. Being comfortable is what most patients feel is their #1 concern in the treatment process. Patients want minimal discomfort. Dr. John Orthodontics strives to be as conservative as possible in order to minimize any discomfort and unnecessary treatments and extended treatment times. Another key to the best possible patient experience is a friendly and accommodating staff. Dr. John Orthodontics has some of the friendliest and accommodating staff around. We receive several 5 star reviews every week that reflect our desire to provide the best possible experience via our amazing doctor and his supporting staff. It's great to be able to offer the highest quality Braces, Invisalign, and TMJ treatments available in orthodontics, but we understand that it has to be affordable for patients to accept and be successful in treatment. Dr. John doesn't want finances to stand in the way of treatment and that is why one of the greatest assets we have for our patient experience is OrthoFi. OrthoFi is a fantastic partner in that they take the highest quality treatment and patient experience and make it affordable for our patients. Patients love it! They provide pay-in-full discounts and down payment / monthly payment options that fit almost any budget and it really puts a smile on our patient's faces. Call and schedule your free exam with Dr. John today and find out where your smile takes you! Kevin R. Hiney We get a lot of inquiries from college students due to our practice being located between Alma College in Alma, Michigan and Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Some of the concerns that are brought up during our free exam for these students are them not wanting people to see that they are in treatment, the cost of treatment, and the convenience of appointments due to being in classes so often. We are able to address all of these issues at Dr. John Orthodontics because we have a great schedule with late hours, multiple "invisible" treatment options, and affordable financing options that fit conveniently into most college budgets. Invisalign and clear ceramic options allow for treatment to be more hidden than traditional brackets and are great options for students looking to hide treatment as much as humanly possible. Our late hours are very popular as our practice is literally located 20 minutes from Central Michigan University and 5 minutes from Alma College so a student could literally come see us every 6 weeks for roughly an hour and successfully complete comprehensive orthodontic treatment. We have so many happy Central Michigan University students and faculty that have had great success and are truly loving their smiles. Not only do they love their smiles but also are relieved to be free from TMJ pain and headaches due to our practice being the only one in the Central Michigan Region that has specialized training in addressing TMJ and headaches caused from misaligned bites. We know students have a lot going on and sometimes need every penny to get through college. That is why we purposefully designed a payment plan for our Central Michigan University and Alma College students that won't break the bank. Hey! College is a great time to start treatment so don't hesitate to reach and call or email us with any questions or concerns and to schedule your free exam today! Watch Alynne's testimony about having braces in college. Kevin R. Hiney Over the many years that I have been involved in orthodontic treatment coordinating, I have yet to hear an adult patient say that they should have waited to get started. Actually, they usually say that they wish they would have started much sooner and that is exactly how our patient, Kayla was able to rid herself of her TMJ pain with braces.
There are various reasons adults consider starting orthodontic treatment, but the one that makes the most impact is the boost of self-esteem from correcting the bite, getting out of pain, and straightening their smile. Orthodontic treatment has the power to truly improve the outlook for someone's life. Don't hesitate to get started riding yourself of insecurities through the many different options of Orthodontics. Improving one's confidence for relationships, career moves, or just feeling like they can finally leave the past behind are only a few of the many positive outcomes from improving one's smile. Traditional braces, ceramic braces, and Invisalign are great options for correcting the bite and aligning a smile. The multiple treatment and financing options available to patients in today's world provide the greatest access to orthodontic treatment than ever before. I do have one very important piece of advice, be sure to go to an orthodontic specialist who not only straightens teeth, but also has additional, specialized training working with the Temporomandibular Joints (TMJ). I have had numerous patients unnecessarily pay significant money and experience severe pain while trying to do it themselves, or receiving treatment from a practice that may not have adequate experience and or training working with the TMJs. Hey! If you ever have questions, please give our practice a call and we will be happy to help! Don't wait! It's never too late to have the smile (and properly aligned bite with relaxed TMJs!) that you've always wanted! Watch Kayla's testimony about how braces corrected her TMJ pain. Kevin R. Hiney Will brushing your teeth for two minutes a day do anything? Not much... but brushing consistently for two minutes, twice a day will make a significant impact on oral health. It has been said that oral health is the window into our overall health.
It's funny to read, "Brushing Isn't Just One and Done", but you'd be surprised at how many people only brush once a day. Some really adventurous individuals will skip an entire day or two of brushing, crazy! It's your life, but if you want to avoid serious pain, self-esteem issues, and expensive, unnecessary trips to the dentist, be consistent with brushing for two minutes, twice a day! Calling all parents! Calling all parents! Do not let your kiddos run around without brushing their teeth for two minutes, twice a day. This seemingly mindless habit is a significant building block in them taking responsibility for their overall health. I guess what I am trying to say is, be consistent with your brushing! It will pay great dividends over the many important moments of life when you'll be glad that you did. Kevin R. Hiney |
